EagleEye: a brief history
Since 2012, Metanous has been working on EagleEye, an integrated platform for monitoring hatcheries, on behalf of Petersime. The platform is continuously expanded with new features.
Below, you will find a brief history of the key milestones that have been achieved. Of course, there is much more to tell about the work that has been done since 2012.

At the beginning of 2021, development began on a new online platform. This platform will not only make the EagleEye functionality available online but will offer much more than that. Features include predictive maintenance, performance data benchmarking, managing multiple hatcheries within a group, analyzing incubation cycles, configuring hatchery layouts, and much more.
EagleEye is being expanded with a planning module for managing a set plan. Such a plan helps the hatchery manager schedule the entire incubation cycle, including the equipment that will be used. This provides a clearer overview of the occupancy and capacity of a hatchery.

2016
EagleEye is being expanded with a planning module that allows users to schedule and track the maintenance of various devices. Through an intuitive interface, users can efficiently plan and monitor maintenance for large numbers of machines within EagleEye.

After several years of international use by customers, EagleEye now supports additional languages (17 in total) and includes a new module that optimizes the placement of trolleys in the incubator.

After the first version of EagleEye was released, development continued, and new functionalities were added. This included the implementation of incubation cycle visualization and support for measurement points of all HVAC devices.

In 2012, development began on EagleEye. This software package was designed to replace the system in use at that time. A desktop application was chosen, developed using WPF (Windows Presentation Foundation).
